The RN–China Parliamentary Front for Economic Cooperation was recently established in the Legislative Assembly of Rio Grande do Norte. The front's proposal is to expand dialogue with Asia's largest economy in areas such as renewable energy, agriculture, mining, infrastructure, culture, and innovation.

Scientists from the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS) and researchers from the Institute of High Energy Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing are working at the China-Brazil Joint Laboratory for Synchrotron Science and Technology (CBJSync), an international laboratory recently inaugurated in the city of Campinas, Brazil. The group is working to advance the fields of health, energy, the environment, and new materials.

Chinese soybean imports from Brazil rose 9.2% in June compared to the previous year, according to data from the General Administration of Customs of China. The government of Goiás, through the State Secretariat for Technology and Innovation (Secti), is expanding cooperation with China in the area of technological innovation and artificial intelligence. In an interview with TV Brasil Central, the head of the Goiás Government’s International Affairs Office, Giordano Souza, pointed out that the state has pioneering work in the area of innovation.

International airlines in Angola are preparing to move to the new António Agostinho Neto International Airport (AIAAN), built by the China National Aero-technology International Engineering Corporation (CAIEC). AIAAN, located in the province of Icolo and Bengo, began construction in 2013, is more than 40 kilometers north of Luanda, and was inaugurated in 2023, having cost the state coffers around 2.5 billion euros.

Between January and June 2025, Brazil received 5,332,111 foreign tourists - an increase of 48.2% over the same period last year. If the pace is maintained, Brazil could exceed, as early as 2025, the target of 8.1 million tourists originally set for 2027. The number of Chinese visitors to Brazil grew by 23.5% compared to 2024.
