Angolan President João Lourenço has called for Chinese companies to invest more in producing consumer goods in his country, Angop reports.
The Angolan state-owned news agency says Mr Lourenço, speaking in Beijing during the Sino-African summit meeting there, suggested that Chinese enterprises and Angolan businesspeople form mutually advantageous partnerships which would bring Chinese know-how to Angola.
New legislation has made the Angolan business environment more attractive to foreign investors, Angop quotes Mr Lourenço as saying.
