The Mozambique bank Millennium Bim has introduced yuan payment services to allow clients to settle trade invoices with Mainland China suppliers, the O Jornal Económico reports.
The Portuguese newspaper says the service will meet a growing need as the Mainland China emerges as one of Mozambique’s primary trading partners.
Other banks in the African country, including the Standard Bank Moçambique and Société Générale Moçambique, offer a similar service.
