Entitled “Paisagem Instável / Unstable Landscape,” the first international exhibition outside Europe of the State Contemporary Art Collection (CACE) will be on display at the Fosun Foundation until December 14, 2025, as part of the 7th edition of Shanghai International Art Trade Week, Museus e Monumentos de Portugal (MMP) recently announced.
The event brings together works by Portuguese artists such as Paula Rego, Júlio Pomar, and Lourdes Castro, articulating different languages—from drawing to sculpture, painting, and photography.
The exhibition aims to build an open cartography of the relationships between the human, the natural, and the social, and “invites the Chinese public to discover the plurality of voices and languages that make up contemporary Portuguese art,” explains MMP in a statement.
