This month, representatives from InvestSP’s Shanghai office participated in a series of events and meetings with leaders from China’s public and private sectors to present business opportunities.

The manager of InvestSP in Shanghai, Inty Mendoza, pointed out that Brazil's demand for innovative medicines is increasing, which opens up a range of opportunities for Chinese pharmaceutical companies to come to São Paulo.

Mendoza also pointed out that the same applies to sectors such as e-commerce, logistics, and infrastructure. The meetings also served to reinforce the capacity of São Paulo companies to supply items for which China has high demand, such as meat, soybeans, cellulose, and sugar.

“China has a huge consumer market, with high demand not only for agricultural products, but also for products and services focused on sustainability and energy transition, for example, sectors in which São Paulo is a global benchmark,” concludes Mendoza.
