Águas Lindas de Goiás recently officially began its process towards internationalization and industrial development. The city received a delegation of 20 Chinese citizens - including authorities and businesspeople - from Zhongshan, in the province of Canton. The visit marked the official launch of the ITEC - Brazil-China Express Channel - and the Municipal Industrial Hub.

ITEC will be a center for training, innovation and international trade. The proposal is to make it a national reference in exchanges with China, connecting Goiás to the Asian market with the full support of the Government of Goiás.

The construction of Águas Lindas' first Municipal Industrial Hub was also highlighted at the event. The site will have the so-called Chinese Court - an exclusive space for the installation of 30 companies from China, which account for 80% of the entire area, which have already been confirmed for the project.
