On October 23, a delegation led by João Moura, the Secretary of State for Agriculture from Portugal’s Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, visited the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao).

On October 22, the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) (Forum Macao) organized the Roundtable Seminar of SMEs from China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries at Cotai Expo, The Venetian Macao.

The 30th Macao International Trade & Investment Fair (30th MIF), the 2nd China-Portuguese-Speaking Countries Economic and Trade Expo (Macao) (2nd C-PLPEX), and the Macao Franchise Expo 2025 (2025MFE) were held concurrently from October 22 to 25, 2025, at Cotai Expo, The Venetian Macao.

On October 14, Mr. Liu Xiaoming, Governor of the People’s Government of Hainan Province, led a delegation to the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao. The delegation exchanged views with Secretary-General Ji Xianzheng on utilizing Forum Macao’s multilateral mechanism and Macao’s platform advantages to further strengthen economic and trade cooperation between Hainan Province and Portuguese-speaking countries (PSCs).

On October 13, a delegation from Anhui Province led by Vice Governor Sun Yong visited the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao.

On the evening of October 3, the cultural exchange activity “China-PSC Exchange: Macao’s Role as a Bridge” kicked off at BIG Shopping Park in Beijing as part of the 17th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.

On the evening of September 28, the 17th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries was grandly inaugurated at the Legend Square in Fisherman’s Wharf, Macao.

The Handicraft Fair, a highlight of the 17th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, officially opened at 3:00 p.m. on September 27.

Organized by the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), the “17th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries” was grandly inaugurated on 28 September at the Fisherman’s Wharf Legend Boulevard in Macao.

To further the outcomes of the 6th Ministerial Conference and enhance Macao’s role as “One Center, One Platform, One Base”, the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) (hereinafter referred to as Forum Macao) will strengthen co-operation in the audiovisual sector between China and PSC to promote cultural exchange.

The 17th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, organized by the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), will take place from September 26 to November 18, 2025. This year’s event will feature cultural exchange activities in Macao, inviting artists, craftsmen, and chefs from China and Portuguese-speaking countries (PSC).
