One of the world’s largest manufacturers of wind turbines, the Chinese multinational company Windey Energy, confirmed during a ceremony in Salvador, State of Bahia, the establishment of its operational base in Brazil. Bahia was chosen to host both the research center and the future factory for state-of-the-art turbines and batteries.

The new Sustainable Food Laboratory was recently inaugurated at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT), in partnership with South China Agricultural University (SCAU). Brazil will set up a tax and customs agency in China, the Brazilian Ministry of Finance recently announced. According to the ministry, the initiative has been considered strategic by the Federal Revenue Office since 2023, and the process is justified by the growing flow of goods between the two countries.
