Omoda & Jaecoo is expanding its logistics center for parts distribution in Cajamar (SP). The operation, which started with a 600 m² space at the beginning of this year, will increase to 1,500 m² by the end of July.
The proposal is that, by the end of this year, the DC will comprise 3,000 m². Over the next three years, the projection is to reach 20,000 m², with the capacity to handle up to R$100 million in parts. According to the Chery group brand, the choice of the city was strategic: in addition to its efficiency in large-scale operations, Cajamar offers a privileged location, capillarity and integration with the main transportation routes in the Southeast to facilitate national distribution for its network of 50 stores, present in 17 states.
Omoda & Jaecoo currently has more than 12,000 different pieces in stock, with an availability rate of between 95% and 97%. According to André Maranhão, the Chinese company's head of after-sales, in the coming months the company will have an even greater supply of parts, equivalent to a six-month supply.
