Recently, the capsule house officially landed in Brazil, bringing a housing solution that arrives ready, is lifted by crane and is habitable in up to two hours. The option attracts tourists, investors and those looking for practical housing in any region.
The 38 m² model, manufactured in the Chinese province of Shandong, has a galvanized steel structure, aluminium panels and panoramic glass of almost 360 degrees. The entire electrical, hydraulic and automation system comes off the assembly line tested and sealed, which eliminates traditional construction stages. The price announced for the basic version in Brazil is R$119,000, already furnished with a queen bed, retractable sofa, cooktop, bespoke cupboards and a complete bathroom.
Ecotourism entrepreneurs see the compact modular house as an alternative that does away with specialized local labor and minimizes environmental impact, as well as a complementary tool to public programs, especially in areas with restricted access to concrete trucks.
