The agreement should be signed on March 16, in Beijing, China, and will establish the framework for cooperation between the Geological Institute of Angola (IGEO) and the Jiangxi Geology and Mineral Resources Office, according to the note given to FAL.

The document also indicates that the signing of the agreement will take place during an event called the “China-Angola Business Forum”, an event that will have the theme “Investment in Angola”. The document also indicates that during the event, the geological mining potential and other investment opportunities will be presented, along with the legislation that governs mining activity, as well as projects in Minas Gerais that require investment or financial partnerships.

It is important to note that the event will be led by the Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo, and will take place on the sidelines of the visit of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, to that eastern country.
