Trade between Brazil and China reached a new record high in 2025, totalling US$171 billion, according to a report by the Brazil-China Business Council (CEBC) published in O Globo. This represents an 8.2% increase compared to 2024.

On 8 January, Angola's Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources (MINPERMAR) and EM&EA signed a partnership agreement in Luanda with the aim of establishing the basic framework for the design, licensing and operation of an integrated marine aquaculture project.

Brazil ended 2025 with the highest volume of soybean exports in its history, according to figures released by the National Association of Grain Exporters (ANEC) on 7 January 2026. Shipments totalled 108.7 million tonnes, an increase of 11.75% compared to 2024 (97.295 million tonnes), consolidating the performance as a new milestone in the country's foreign trade for oilseeds.
