Pavilion of China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform was launched at the 2nd China (Macau) High-quality Consumption Exhibition

On December 15, the 2nd China (Macau) High-quality Consumption Exhibition was inaugurated in Macao. To support the development of China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform, the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) set up the Pavilion of China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform. The Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Ji Xianzheng, participated in the opening ceremony and visited the Pavilion with the Vice President of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), Gou Ping. Through words, images, videos, physical products and other means, the Pavilion showcased the unique characteristics of China, nine Portuguese-speaking Countries (PSCs) – Angola, Brazil, Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe and Timor-Leste, as well as Macao, so as to promote the investment and business environment and achievements of China and PSCs, China and PSCs co-operation and featured products of PSCs, therefore fully demonstrating Macao’s function as the service platform.


The 2nd China (Macau) High-quality Consumption Exhibition & Hengqin Global Bay Areas Forum was hosted from December 15 to 17 at Cotai Expo Halls, The Venetian Macao. Themed “Creating Shared Prosperity: World-class Bay Areas Lead an Open Economy”, this event has played a significant role in various aspects, such as presenting China’s economic vitality and development opportunities, fostering China to expand domestic demands and attract foreign investment, promoting world-class bay areas to communicate and cooperate, constructing platforms for the import and export of high-end resources and empowering the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
