Throughout this week, the Mato Grosso Soybean and Corn Producers Association (Aprosoja MT) is hosting a group of Chinese translators for technical training aimed at strengthening communication between Brazil and China, especially in the agribusiness sector. The programme began on 9 February with a visit by the group to the association's headquarters in Cuiabá, accompanied by representatives from Invest MT.
The aim of the training is to go beyond the literal translation of technical terms, offering a complete immersion in the functioning of the agricultural sector in Mato Grosso, ensuring that interpreters understand the productive, regulatory and institutional context of the sector, ensuring greater accuracy and fidelity in the transmission of information between the two countries.
During the visit to Aprosoja MT, the translators learned about the entity's institutional divisions, the logistics, agricultural policy, agricultural defence and sustainability committees, which are strategic areas for understanding the challenges and advances in grain production in the state. These pillars guide the association's actions and are fundamental for dialogue with international markets, such as China, Brazil's main trading partner.
