A vessel from China docked last week in Salvador, capital of the state of Bahia, carrying tonnes of equipment and metal structures intended for the start of construction of the Salvador-Itaparica Bridge. Brazil's Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, André de Paula, recently took part in a bilateral meeting in Beijing with the Minister of the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC), Sun Meijun.
