On December 2, the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD announced that it will start producing its first vehicles at its Camaçari plant in Bahia in March next year. This factory will be the world's largest and most advanced electric vehicle production plant outside of China. The information was confirmed by BYD's regional CEO, Stella Li, during a meeting with the President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

On December 4, a Chinese delegation visit Brazil to learn about the rice processing process applied at the Brazilian company São João Alimentos, in Santa Cruz do Rio Pardo in São Paulo.
