Mozambique intends to reinforce its cooperation with China in order to introduce Chinese experience and technologies, thereby improving the professional skills of young Mozambicans, said Maria Gustava, Mozambique’s ambassador to China, at a conference on the topic of vocational education in Beijing.

In the year marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mozambique, the diplomat emphasised that Mozambique seeks cooperation with China in areas such as the development of digital learning resources, the implementation of intelligent training platforms, and the enhancement of teachers’ digital skills.

Xu Shijie, Executive Vice-President of the Association for Graduate Employment of the Ministry of Education, stated that promoting vocational education cooperation between China and Mozambique is of great importance. “The results and progress of China's vocational education in smart manufacturing, modern agriculture, and the digital economy can provide effective references for Mozambique,” he said, hoping that China's experiences will contribute to its development in these areas.
