The Portuguese Language and Culture Day of the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP) was celebrated – for the first time in the Chinese capital, Beijing – on May 5. A delegation from Hunan Province, led by its Governor, Mr Xu Dazhe, visited on April 27 the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – also known as Forum Macao.

A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – also known as Forum Macao – took part in the 121st Canton Fair, in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, on April 14 and 15. Mr Vicente Manuel, Deputy Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, led the delegation.

A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – also known as Forum Macao – visited Shenzhen, in Guangdong Province, on April 13 and 14, to take part in the “Dynamic Macao Week” held there. The delegation was led by the Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Ms Xu Yingzhen.

A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – a body also known as Forum Macao – toured on April 3 the facilities of the Macau Productivity and Technology Center (CPTTM), including its Cyber Lab and its House of Apparel Technology. The delegation was led by the Secretary-General of Forum Macao, Ms Xu Yingzhen.

A delegation from the International Institute of Macau visited on March 31 the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), a body also known as Forum Macao.

Representatives of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), as well as its guests and representatives of the Participating Countries – totalling more than 30 people – took part in the opening ceremony of the 2017 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum and Exhibition (2017MIECF).

During the 12th Ordinary Meeting of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), held in Macao on March 29, 2017, the Participating Countries deliberated on and unanimously approved the integration into Forum Macao of the Democratic Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe
