The first meeting of the “Working Group on Cooperation in Capacity Production” – under the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – was held in Macao on June 1.

The “Seminar on Capacity Production and Finance Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries,” organised by the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), took place at the Venetian Macao on June 2.

The Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) and the Bank of China, Macau Branch co-organised the “Seminar on RMB Cross-border Transactions for Portuguese-speaking Countries” on May 29, at the Bank of China Building.

Representatives of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) attended an event in Beijing on May 19 to celebrate “China Tourism Day 2017”.

The closing ceremony and certificate presentation for the “Workshop on Capacity Production Cooperation for Portuguese-speaking Countries” and for the “Workshop on Finance Cooperation for Portuguese-speaking Countries” was held at the Grand Ballroom of Hotel Grand Lisboa on June 4.

During the 8th International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum that took place in Macao, the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) organised a networking reception on May 31, at the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel.

Two new workshops organised by the Training Centre of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, also known as Forum Macao, started on May 22. The courses are organised in partnership with the City University of Macau. They are: the “Workshop on Capacity Production Cooperation for Portuguese-speaking Countries”; and the “Workshop on Finance Cooperation for Portuguese-speaking Countries”.

The Portuguese Language and Culture Day of the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP) was celebrated – for the first time in the Chinese capital, Beijing – on May 5. The diplomatic representatives of Portuguese-speaking Countries promoted the initiative, which received great support from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao

A delegation from Hunan Province, led by its Governor, Mr Xu Dazhe, visited on April 27 the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – also known as Forum Macao.

A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – also known as Forum Macao – took part in the 121st Canton Fair, in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, on April 14 and 15. Mr Vicente Manuel, Deputy Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, led the delegation.

A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – also known as Forum Macao – visited Shenzhen, in Guangdong Province, on April 13 and 14, to take part in the “Dynamic Macao Week” held there. The delegation was led by the Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Ms Xu Yingzhen.
