The Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao, hosted a media luncheon at the Plaza Restaurant on January 18 and another on January 19.

Mr Ding Tian has been named Deputy Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao. The Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China appointed him.

The visits took place on December 5, 9 and 14, respectively.

The Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), Ms Xu Yingzhen, led a Forum Macao delegation to join a meeting between representatives from the Guangdong Provincial People’s Assembly, the Macao SAR Legislative Assembly and local assemblies from Portuguese-speaking Countries. The event was held in Guangdong Province.

The Opening Ceremony of the 8th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries was held on October 24, at 7.30pm, at the Tromba Rija restaurant in the Macau Tower.

The 5th Ministerial Conference of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) was successfully held on October 11 and 12, at the Macao East Asian Games Dome. The organiser – the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – is also known as Forum Macao.
