On July 25, the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) hosted 25 students from Portuguese-speaking Countries who are enrolled at Macao Polytechnic Institute.

On July 10, the Secretary-General of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), Ms Xu Yingzhen, met with a delegation of the Exporters Union of the CPLP (Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries), headed by its President, Mr Mário Costa.

With the aim of promoting tourism cooperation between Mainland China, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries, as well as to facilitate the implementation in Macao of the “One Centre, One Platform” policies, the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) attended the Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo.

The Deputy Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), Mr Vicente de Jesus Manuel, completed his term in office on July 10, 2017.

The Mayor of São Miguel, in Cape Verde, Mr. Herménio Celso Fernandes, visited on July 5 the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – also known as Forum Macao. He met representatives from the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, including Secretary-General Ms Xu Yingzhen and Deputy Secretary-General Ms Echo Chan.

The Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) is to take part in the 5th Macao International Travel (Industry) Expo. As in previous editions, it will set up a pavilion at the event promoting tourism in Portuguese-speaking Countries.

Representatives of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) visited Quanzhou, in Mainland China’s Fujian province, from June 22 to 24.

The Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), Ms Xu Yingzhen, led a delegation on a visit to Portugal from June 19 to 22. The visit followed the travelling party’s participation in the “12th Entrepreneurs Meeting for Commercial and Economic Cooperation between China and Portugal”, held in Cape Verde.

The Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), Ms Xu Yingzhen, led a delegation to attend the “12th Entrepreneurs Meeting for Commercial and Economic Cooperation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries”, which was held in Praia, Cape Verde, from June 16 to 18.

The Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), Ms Xu Yingzhen, led a 40-strong delegation on a visit to several Portuguese-speaking Countries.

The Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), Ms Xu Yingzhen, led a delegation in a visit to the cities of Nanjing and Changzhou in Jiangsu Province.

Members of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) met with representatives of Brazil’s National Confederation of Services on June 5 to exchange opinions on the commencement of co-operation.
