On the afternoon of 30 July 2026, the 43rd Study Mission of Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Departments visited the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) for a working exchange. During the visit, members of the Study Mission learned about the functions and operating mechanisms of Forum Macao and the Commercial and Trade Co-operation Service Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, as well as the achievements made in recent years. The two sides also discussed opportunities for practical economic and trade co-operation among provinces and municipalities in mainland China, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries.
