On 27 April, the Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum Macao, Ji Xianzheng, accompanied by members of the Secretariat, paid a visit to the 2026 National Security Education Exhibition held at the China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform Complex.

As a fundamental pillar for the harmonious social development and the preservation of Macao's cultural diversity, national security also constitutes a strong guarantee for the Forum Macao, through the Macao Commercial Co-operation Platform between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, to promote Sino-Lusophone economic and trade co-operation. Through this visit, the members of the Secretariat deepened their knowledge of the level of modernisation of China's national security system and capabilities, as well as the efforts of the Macao SAR in continuously perfecting the legal framework and implementation mechanism to comprehensively safeguard national security, which contributes to the Permanent Secretariat better carrying out its work in Macao.
