The 5th China (Macao) High-quality Consumption Exhibition & Hengqin Global Bay Areas Forum is being held in Macao and Hengqin from 9 to 13 September 2026. At the organiser’s invitation, the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao attended the exhibition’s opening ceremony and the opening ceremony of a themed activity on rural revitalisation on 11 September. It also set up an information pavilion on China and Portuguese-speaking Countries in the Macao exhibition area.

 

The Information Exhibition on China and Portuguese-speaking Countries is being held in Pavilions A and B of Cotai Expo at The Venetian Macao, occupying a total area of 120 square metres. It is open to the public free of charge from 11 to 13 September. Combining explanatory texts, images and multimedia content, the exhibition presents the development of Forum Macao, the distinctive cultural and humanistic features of the nine Portuguese-speaking Countries – Angola, Brazil, Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Timor-Leste – and the results of economic and trade co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries. The Permanent Secretariat warmly invites people from all sectors of society to visit the exhibition.
