According to data from the Statistics of China Customs Services (see the attached table), trade exchanges between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries amounted to US$76.343 billion from January to April 2026, recording a year-on-year increase of 25.16%. China’s imports from the Portuguese-speaking Countries amounted to US$43.958 billion, a year-on-year increase of 28.21%, whilst China’s exports to the Portuguese-speaking Countries stood at US$32.385 billion, up 21.25% year on year.
Trade exchanges between China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries amounted to US$22.443 billion in April 2026, representing a year-on-year increase of 33.73%. China’s imports from the Portuguese-speaking Countries stood at US$13.131 billion, up 34.49% year on year, whilst China’s exports to the Portuguese-speaking Countries amounted to US$9.312 billion, a year-on-year increase of 32.68%.
