The University of Cabo Verde (Uni-CV) and Macau Millennium College recently signed a memorandum of understanding which, over a five-year period, provides for a double degree in Digital Business, exchanges of teaching staff and students, and the opening of representation offices for each institution on the other’s campus. The agreement also aims to develop joint research programmes and promote the sharing of academic materials.

The document was signed by the Rector of Macau Millennium College, Professor Zhong Weihe, and the Rector of Uni-CV, Professor Astrigilda Pires Rocha Silveira. Co-operation between the two institutions is based on the principle of reciprocity and aims to strengthen teaching and research activities, as well as deepen mutual understanding among academics and students.

The signing took place in the context of growing ties between Uni-CV and higher education institutions in Macao, on the sidelines of the 35th Meeting of the Association of Portuguese-speaking Universities (AULP). The Meeting was chaired by the Rector of Uni-CV.
