Investe Piauí recently represented the state government at the China-Brazil Forum for Industrial Innovation and Sustainable Development Co-operation, held in Xiamen, China. The main objective of the participation was to attract investment and promote the state's economic potential in areas such as agribusiness, logistics and renewable energy.

As part of the initiatives associated with the BRICS, the meeting brought together government representatives, businesspeople and investors, with a view to strengthening partnerships in the areas of innovation and sustainable development. Piauí highlighted its business opportunities through an exhibition booth at the BRICS fair, where it presented emblematic products from the region, such as honey, nuts and cajuína (cashew apple juice).

According to Saullo Branco, Director of Asian Markets at Investe Piauí, participating in international forums reinforces the state's external projection. He also highlighted the meetings held with companies such as Vale and Embraer, as well as the support provided by the Consulate-General of Brazil in Guangzhou.

The forum established itself as a strategic platform for strengthening investment flows and trade relations between Brazil and China.
