Businesspeople from the Zhejiang association of the Chamber of Commerce Angola-China recently delivered 200 tonnes of various goods in Luanda to victims of the rains in Benguela province, in the east of Angola. The ceremony was witnessed by the Minister of State and Head of the Military Affairs Office of the President of the Republic, among other members of the government, according to information reported by Jornal de Angola Online, via a post from the Chamber of Commerce Angola-China on the social network Facebook.
On the occasion, the Minister of State, Francisco Furtado, praised the initiative of the Zhejiang association of residents in Angola, emphasising that it is in difficult times that true friends are recognised and that China has established itself as a supportive partner of Angola.
