The Chief Executive will hold a meeting on 10 April at the Palácio da Praia Grande with the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Portugal, Pedro José Aguiar-Branco, who is visiting Macao after trips to Beijing and Shanghai at the invitation of the Chairman of China's National People's Congress, Zhao Leji.
Days before Sam Hou Fai's visit to Lisbon, the Chief Executive will receive Aguiar-Branco and his accompanying delegation, which includes members of the Portugal-China Friendship Group from different political parties with parliamentary seats.
During his stay in Macao, Aguiar-Branco is also expected to visit the Legislative Assembly and meet with its President, André Cheong. On the afternoon of Friday, a visit to the Portugal pavilion at the Macao International Travel Expo (MITE) is also planned.
According to previously released information, the Portuguese official will meet in Beijing with Zhao Leji, President of the National People's Congress, and Vice-President Han Zheng. In Shanghai, in addition to meetings with local authorities, he is expected to visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Centre and the Fosun Art Centre.
