On January 19, a delegation from the Guangdong and Macau Federation of Industries and Commerce visited Taguspark, a science and technology park located in Oeiras, to learn about the construction and operation of this innovation and technology center, known as the “Silicon Valley of Portugal.”
According to the newspaper Ou Mun, the delegation was received by Taguspark's executive director, Eduardo Baptista Correia. According to the same newspaper, a presentation was made on Taguspark's strategic planning, particularly in terms of infrastructure reserves, land, and the development of resources linked to tourism and Portuguese-speaking communities. In the same presentation, Eduardo Baptista Correia also explained Taguspark's strategic areas in strengthening the maritime economy, artificial intelligence, and robotics.
Si Kai Lon expressed openness to strengthening bilateral communication, promoting resource sharing, and exploiting complementary advantages, with the aim of creating more opportunities for market expansion and for technology companies on both sides.
