The Zeekr 007, a mid-size electric sedan from the Chinese premium brand, had its industrial design registered with the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI). The move indicates that the model has entered Zeekr's radar for the Brazilian market, where the brand has been operating for over a year with the X, 001, and 7X models.
If it moves forward with approval and sale, the Zeekr 007 would arrive to compete directly with the BYD Seal, currently one of the leading electric sedans in Brazil in terms of both performance and range.
The registration of the industrial design in Brazil does not confirm the launch of the Zeekr 007, but it serves as a relevant indication that the model is being evaluated for the local market. If confirmed, the 007 would expand Zeekr's presence in Brazil and mark the brand's entry into the mid-size electric sedan segment, currently dominated by the BYD Seal, adding more competition to a niche that is still largely untapped in the country.
