The Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technology, and Media, Mário Augusto da Silva Oliveira, considered the relations between the Republic of Angola and the People's Republic of China to be fruitful, stating that the Chinese are developing their activities in multiple sectors of Angolan life, especially in the social, economic, and engineering areas.
The Angolan minister was speaking to CICC, a radio and television network in Wuhan, at the end of the CHINA-AFRICA COOPERATION AND DEVELOPMENT FORUM 2025, co-organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China and the Hubei government.
Mário Oliveira was one of the main speakers at the event and in his speech he said that China's presence in Africa has contributed significantly to the construction of infrastructure, railways, hospitals, schools, and ICT networks. He therefore emphasized that Africans and Chinese are writing a new chapter in their relationship.
We are moving from a partnership based on traditional assistance to one driven by collaborative innovation and shared development, said the Minister of Telecommunications, Information Technology, and Media.
