Recently, the Brazilian Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock (CNA) participated in the “5th Brazil-China Dialogue on Green Finance and Cooperation in Sustainable Agriculture,” promoted by the Brazil-China Business Council (CEBC) and the Institute of Finance and Sustainability (IFS) in São Paulo.

The event brought together representatives from governments, entities, and companies from both countries to discuss the financing of sustainable agriculture and ecological restoration, with a focus on bilateral partnership.

CNA's International Relations advisor, Pedro Rodrigues, participated in a panel on the theme “Building restoration-oriented value chains — connecting Brazilian projects to Chinese buyers and investors.” Regarding cooperation between Brazil and China, Rodrigues highlighted that there are several opportunities, such as the development of small-scale machinery, the creation of new cultivars and bio-inputs, and the tropicalization of indicators that represent agriculture developed in tropical climates.
