On her first agenda in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province, China, Pernambuco Governor Raquel Lyra held a meeting with the Brazilian consular corps in Sichuan. During the meeting, the groups exchanged views and discussed partnerships that will be announced during the international mission.

Welcoming the head of the state executive, the acting consul general of Brazil in Chengdu, Durval Barros, highlighted the fraternal ties between China and Pernambuco. "Sichuan had the good taste and good sense to welcome and embrace Pernambuco, and this fraternity is a bond that will mark and energize the lives of those involved. The Consulate General of Brazil is honored to welcome Governor Raquel Lyra and the delegation here in the heart of China, with the hope that they will take home fond memories," he said.

During the visit, the Pernambuco delegation, led by the governor, will participate in engagements in China, with visits to large companies focused on investments in energy and mobility, participate in bilateral actions, and seminars with investors.
