Equatorial Guinea and China recently strengthened their agricultural cooperation. The strengthening took place during a meeting between Manuel Osa Nsue, Prime Minister responsible for administrative coordination in Equatorial Guinea, and Liu Yuxy, the Chinese government representative for African affairs.

According to the Equatorial Guinean government's website, the excellent cooperative relations between the two governments were analyzed and issues related to the implementation of new agricultural policies based on the Chinese government's zero tariff policy for Africa were discussed. China has decided to eliminate tariffs on 53 African countries, a measure that has been well received by Equatorial Guinea.

It should be noted that the two countries have maintained excellent relations for more than 50 years, which have been further consolidated under the leadership and vision of both current heads of state.
