Recently, Otilia Tomo, technical director of Animal Sciences at the Mozambique Agricultural Research Institute, gave an exclusive interview to Xinhua News Agency. “This year is a jubilee year, marking 50 years of friendship between the two countries. During these 50 years, Mozambique has learned a lot from China. Mozambique has received various forms of support from China in different areas, including infrastructure, agriculture, education, and health, among others,” she said.

According to her, agriculture is an important area of cooperation between China and Mozambique, as China has gone through the same situation of poverty as Mozambique but now boasts remarkable achievements in its transformation.

The director said that they have already sent several researchers and students to China for training, noting that Mozambique hopes to introduce more advanced technologies from China in the future to promote development in various areas, including agriculture.
