The Chinese animated film “Ne Zha 2” will hit Brazilian theaters in the second half of this year. The film will be distributed by A2 Filmes and is expected to premiere in Brazil in the second half of September.
“Ne Zha 2” is the highest-grossing film of 2025, as well as the most successful animated film in cinema history, with revenues exceeding $1.9 billion. Outside China, the animation has already premiered in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Russia, with overseas revenue totaling $35.9 million. It should be noted that the film's budget was $80 million.
The first film telling the story of Ne Zha was released in 2019 and also performed well at the box office, grossing $726 million and ranking as the 12th highest-grossing film globally that year.
