Mozambique’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation (MINEC), Maria Lucas, begins on June 10 a five-day working visit to the People’s Republic of China, at the invitation of her counterpart, Wang Yi.
During the visit, Maria Lucas is expected to participate in the Ministerial Meeting of Coordinators on the Implementation of the Follow-up Actions of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) and the 4th China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo (CAETE), events held in Changsha city, Hunan province.
Lucas’s agenda, in addition to delivering a speech at the FOCAC ministerial conference, includes meetings with China’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi and the Chairman of the China International Development Cooperation Agency, Chen Xiaodong.
Mozambique’s Minister of Foreign Affairs’s working visit to Changsha takes place within the framework of consolidating the excellent friendship, solidarity, and cooperation between the governments of Mozambique and China.
