Brazilian culture on display at Zhejiang University of International Studies

The event “An Afternoon in Brazil: Exploring Brazilian Music and Culture” was held on April 24, 2025, at Zhejiang University of International Studies (Zisu) in Hangzhou.

The event was organized by the School of Arts, and with support from the Consulate General of Brazil in Shanghai.

 

The day began with an institutional meeting between Zisu leaders and the delegation from the Consulate General of Brazil in Shanghai. In the early afternoon, at the Central Library, there was a cultural exchange activity between the consulate delegation and students and teachers from the Portuguese Course at Zisu.

 

In addition to an exhibition of Brazilian authors translated into Chinese, participants were treated to a lecture by diplomat Paulo Henrique on the short story “A terceira margem do rio” (The Third Bank of the River) by Guimarães Rosa.
