On April 14, the Superintendence of the Manaus Free Trade Zone (Suframa) received a delegation of investors from China. The meeting sought to strengthen trade relations between Brazil and China, as well as prospecting investment opportunities in the Amazon region.

The visit was coordinated by the Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute of the Macau Special Administrative Region, whose mission is to support the internationalization of Chinese companies and foster economic and commercial cooperation with partner countries.

During the meeting, the visitors watched an institutional presentation by Suframa, including a video and a technical presentation by Suframa staff. They were shown the tax incentives of the Manaus Free Trade Zone (ZFM), the attractiveness of the model for productive investments and the region's strategic role in international trade.
