The book “Crónicas e Memórias de Beijing: 20 Dias e Mais de 20 Olhares sobre a China”, by the Angolan journalists Hélder Luandino and Xavier António, is scheduled for launch on 6 November, at the Aníbal de Melo Press Centre (CIAM), in Luanda.

The publication results from the authors' participation in an exchange programme for Angolan media professionals, held in China from 1 to 20 September 2025. The initiative was part of exchanges and co-operation between professionals from the two countries.

Published by Kilunji Editora, the work has 252 pages and is organised into different thematic sections. The texts follow the journey from the authors' departure from Angola and address experiences related to journalism, culture, technology, education, industry and bilateral co-operation.

The book also brings together reflections on everyday life in China, intercultural encounters and the authors' personal memories. The preface is signed by Angola's secretary of state for social communication, Nuno Caldas Albino.
