A delegation from the Brazil–China International Development Chamber of Commerce (CCDIBC) and the engineering company Grupo TSK do Brasil recently visited the Chinese city of Jinan to identify co-operation opportunities in the construction materials, agricultural inputs and chemicals sectors.

During an economic and trade meeting between Jinan and Brazil, Grupo TSK do Brasil met with five local companies operating in construction materials, green energy and other sectors, including Shandong Hi-Speed Green Building Steel Structure and Fast Heavy Industry. The parties discussed the procurement of construction materials and prefabricated structures, as well as expansion into overseas markets.

According to Grupo TSK do Brasil, growth in Brazil’s construction market has driven rising demand for different types of materials. The meetings enabled Chinese and Brazilian companies to present their respective capabilities and explore potential supply arrangements and commercial co-operation.

Representatives of local bodies responsible for promoting trade and economic development also took part in the activities. The mission sought to establish direct business contacts and match the needs of the Brazilian market with the production capacity of Chinese companies.
