The vice-governor of Goiás, Daniel Vilela, led a working meeting with the general manager of Weichai, Hui Liu, where the investment of approximately R$100 million was confirmed to establish a new factory in Itumbiara, in the southern region of Goiás. The lithium battery industry Eikto, of Chinese origin, announced an investment of R$50 million to expand its Laguna (SC) factory. The company had already invested around R$20 million to install its assembly line last year.

On June 8, a meeting was held at the Institute for International Peasant Cooperation (IAPC) to discuss strengthening the Brazil-China partnership for Agricultural Mechanization of Family Farming.
