The Portuguese Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (APAVT) chose Macau, which will host its congress in 2025, as its preferred international destination next year. Trina Solar has signed a supply contract with Brazilian EPC contractor Fiber X to offer solar modules and trackers for the CEMIG SIM project, comprising several distributed generation solar power plants, in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The project has a total capacity of 90MW.

This is the highest honour awarded by this university to foreign researchers.

BYD, the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, is going to reinforce the Ministry of Health's fleet with 53 units of the Atto 3 model. The public tender launched in the second half of the year and mediated by SPMS (Shared Services of the Ministry of Health) ended with the acquisition of 53 BYD vehicles that will be delivered by December 2023.

According to information from a study conducted by the company Canalys, the Chinese company Realme was the smartphone brand that grew the most in sales in Brazil in the second half of 2023. The study points out that Realme recorded 151% growth on Brazilian soil in the period analyzed.

The announcement of the new Omoda and Jaecoo factory with investments for production in Brazil will be made in January by the company's CEO, Shawn XU, who is vice president of Chery Global. The goal is to start production of the vehicles in 2025.
