UnB and partners promote training with Chinese agricultural machinery at Fazenda Água Limpa

Recently, the Brazil-China Center for Research, Development, and Promotion of Science and Technology in Family Farming at UnB, in partnership with the Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST) and the International Association for Popular Cooperation (IAPC Baobab), held a technical training session and tested agricultural machinery at the Água Limpa Farm (FAL) of the University of Brasília.


The training brought together more than 20 farmers settled in projects in the Federal District and Goiás. Also participating were professors from UnB, students from the China Agricultural University (CAU), MST technicians, and representatives from Chinese companies that provided some of the equipment used, including WORLD Agriculture Machinery.


The project aims to evaluate the performance, adaptability, and efficiency of equipment from more than 11 Chinese companies in different production conditions in the country, with the goal of promoting international cooperation in science and technology and the technification of Brazilian family farming.
