Brazil participates in WHO international agenda on care for children with developmental delays in China

Recently, Brazil's Ministry of Health was represented at the Caregiver Skills Training (CST) Technical Exchange Meeting, promoted by the World Health Organization (WHO) and held in Chongqing, China. CST is an international program developed by the WHO to support parents and caregivers of children with developmental delays and/or disabilities, offering practical strategies for interaction, developmental stimulation, and care in everyday family life.


The event brought together experts and representatives from countries in the Americas, Europe, and Asia to share experiences, discuss regional agendas, and expand international collaboration focused on care and strengthening the role of families in the child development process.


The General Coordinator of Health for Persons with Disabilities of the Brazilian Ministry of Health, Arthur Medeiros, was the official representative of Brazil and participated in the technical program of the international meeting.
