The Bahia State University (UNEB) has taken another important step towards offering the country's first Bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Bachelor's degree in Translation into Chinese.
A meeting was recently held between the dean, Professor Adriana Marmori, administrators, and faculty members with representatives from the Chinese Embassy in Brazil and the Confucius Institute at PUC-Rio. The main objective was to agree on actions to consolidate the degree programs, offer better academic conditions, including support for exchanges in China for selected students, and partnerships with institutions and the Government of the People's Republic of China.
With this initiative, UNEB reaffirms its academic pioneering spirit and its commitment to quality higher education. The offer of these courses deepens international institutional ties and also the university's commitment to regional and national challenges in teaching, research, and extension.
