A delegation from the Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Zhoushan Municipality, in Mainland China’s Zheijiang Province, on April 26 visited the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao.

The Closing Ceremony for the ‘Workshop on Training for SMEs from Portuguese-speaking Countries’ took place on April 28, at the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao.

The Macao Chamber of Commerce organised a forum on April 27 for its members and other business people to discuss topics related to improving Macao’s role as a platform and promoting co-operation with Portuguese-speaking Countries.

A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Forum Macao) joined on April 21 and 22 a series of promotional activities organised by the Macao SAR Government in the city of Jiangmen, Guangdong Province. Among these events was the ‘Dynamic Macao Business and Trade Fair – Jiangmen, Guangdong’.

To highlight the role of Macao as a service platform and explain the investment environment and business opportunities of Portuguese-speaking Countries, the ‘Seminar on Business Co-operation between Jiangmen, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries’ was held on April 21 in Jiangmen, Guangdong Province.

The two-day Business Meeting between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries successfully concluded on April 10 in Bissau, the capital city of Guinea-Bissau.

A delegation of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao, has visited Portugal and Guinea-Bissau during April. The delegation took part in the Business Meeting between China, Portuguese-speaking Countries and Macao.

A delegation organised by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Forum Macao) will visit Jiangmen, in Guangdong Province, this month as part of a Macao-wide delegation participating in the ‘Dynamic Macao Week in Jiangmen’.

The Workshop on Training for Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises from Portuguese-speaking Countries will take place in Macao between April 15 and 28. The workshop has been organised by the Training Centre of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao).

The ‘Portuguese-speaking Countries’ Food Products Exhibition Centre’ officially opened on March 31, 2016. A delegation of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) and the Ambassadors to Beijing from Portuguese-speaking Countries attended the opening ceremony, held at the Tap Seac Square Commercial Centre.

A delegation of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), the Ambassadors to Beijing from Portuguese-speaking Countries and other guests, on March 31 participated in the opening ceremony of the 2016 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum and Exhibition for Environment (MIECF).

The 11th Ordinary Meeting of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) took place in Macao on March 30, 2016.
