A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) on March 26 participated in the opening ceremony of the 2015 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition for Environment (MIECF), at the Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel.

On March 25, 2015, the Coordinator of the Support Office to the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), Ms Echo Chan Keng Hong, participated in the conference about “Macau, an international platform”.

Ms Echo Chan Keng Hong officially took office as the new Coordinator of the Support Office to the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) at a swearing-in ceremony on March 18 headed by Secretary for Economy and Finance, Mr Leong Vai Tac.

Experienced public administrator Ms Echo Chan Keng Hong has been named the new Coordinator of the Support Office to the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao). Her appointment to the body, which is also known as Forum Macao, was effective from March 4.

In order to strengthen cooperation in the field of education between China, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries, the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), supported the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Portuguese Institute of the Orient (IPOR) and the Hainan-Macao Economic and Cultural Association (Hainan-Macao Association).

The Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao, informs that the new Representative of Mozambique to the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Ms Francisca António Torcida Reino, took office on February 16, 2015.

The Award Presentation Ceremony for the Photo Competition included in the 6th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries took place on January 31, at 3pm. It was followed by the inauguration of an exhibition featuring the awarded entries and held at Cool Gallery, in the Weng Nin building, Pátio de S. Lázaro.

Mozambican government officials are in Macao between November 25 and 29 for an exchange visit. It has been organised by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao.

The Opening Ceremony of the Programme on Tax and Fiscal Policies for Portuguese-speaking Countries took place on November 24, at 11am, at the Golden Dragon Campus of the City University of Macau. The course is organised by the Training Centre of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao.
