The Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Mr Ji Xianzheng, paid a visit on March 9 to the Secretary for Transport and Public Works of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR), Mr Raimundo Arrais do Rosário

The Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Mr Ji Xianzheng, paid a visit on March 7 to the Secretary for Administration and Justice of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR), Mr Cheong Weng Chon.

More than 500 people visited an exhibition of paintings by Macao artist Mr Lai Sio Kit, which concluded successfully on February 27, and was organised in tandem with three workshops. The exhibition was spread across 17 days. It was part of the exhibition series “Lusophone Polychromes”, included in the 13th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, organised by the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao.

A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, led by Secretary-General Mr Ji Xianzheng, was in Beijing between February 27 and March 2, paying a series of visits to the ambassadors or chargés d’affaires in China of, respectively, Angola, Brazil, Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Timor-Leste.

Secretary-General Mr Ji expressed his gratitude for the support given by the Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture to Forum Macao, and to the Permanent Secretariat. He also said hehoped the two sides would continue to coordinate and carry out exchanges in fields including culture, public health and pandemic-prevention work, as well as in the training of human resources.

A delegation of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, led by Secretary-General Mr Ji Xianzheng, paid a visit to the Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR, Mr Fu Ziying on February 22, to listen to his opinions and proposals on the work of Forum Macao and the Permanent Secretariat.

The Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Mr Ji Xianzheng, paid a visit on February 17 to the Secretary for Security of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR), Mr Wong Sio Chak.

The Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao, hosted on February 17, at the Mandarin Oriental Macau, a gathering for representatives of local Portuguese-, English- and Chinese-language media.

The launch ceremony for an exhibition by Macao artist Mr Lai Sio Kit, at the China-Portuguese-speaking Countries Commercial and Trade Service Platform Complex, was held there on February 11 (Friday), at 6.30pm. The show has been organised by the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao,

The Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Mr Ji Xianzheng, had on February 8 a meeting with the Consul-General of Portugal in Macao and Hong Kong, Mr Paulo Cunha Alves.

The Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Mr Ji Xianzheng, had on January 27 a meeting at the Government Headquarters with the Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR), Mr Ho Iat Seng. It was to hear Mr Ho’s opinions on, and proposals regarding, Forum Macao’s development, and to discuss the work already carried out by the Permanent Secretariat.

The Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Mr Ji Xianzheng, paid a courtesy visit to the Director of the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO), Ms Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, on January 20.
