On October 13, a delegation from Anhui Province led by Vice Governor Sun Yong visited the Permanent Secretariat of Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao. The delegation held discussions with Secretary-General Ji Xianzheng on fully leveraging Anhui Province’s strengths in industries such as the automotive sector and specialty agriculture, utilizing the multilateral mechanism of Forum Macao and the platform role of Macao, to further promote economic and trade co-operation between Anhui Province and Portuguese-speaking countries.


Attending the meeting were Deputy Secretaries-General of the Permanent Secretariat Xie Ying and António Lei, Coordinator of the Executive Office Li Xiaohui, and Advisor of the Executive Office Liu Yimei.


Following the meeting, Vice Governor Sun Yong and the delegation toured the exhibition hall of the Complex of Commerce and Trade Co-operation Platform for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries.
